Nursery

Spring Term 2020

Our exciting Spring term topic is “All about me”. We will be finding out about ourselves and all the special things that make us wonderful and unique. We will be developing an understanding of similarities and difference. Our older children will be involved in visiting a residential home for some intergenerational work with Boogie Beats. We will be continuing to develop counting and ordering skills using the 5 and 10 frames to help us gain a deeper understanding of number.

We will continue to develop positive personal characteristics through our “Building a Better Me” work, where we will be celebrating and improving the children’s character strengths in teamwork, respect, resilience, curiosity,  creativity and independence. Each week we will use our puppet show to help children understand these character strengths and also our British Values.

Ask your child to tell you about them and look at our display as you come into nursery where we celebrate children’s achievements. Don’t forget to send in “Sharing Special Times” sheets and “ I am Amazing” sheets when you have done something special with your child  or your child has achieved something new!
