Welcome to Orchard Early Years

This phase of school includes children aged two to five years old. The children aged 2 are known as the Little Ladybirds, the children aged 3 to 4 are known as Ladybirds or Nursery  and the children aged 4 to 5 are known as Land Snails and Sea Snails this is when full time education also begins in the Reception Year. 

We are a warm, family-friendly environment where children can learn, explore, and grow. We offer high - quality early years education. We love to celebrate outdoor learning and to make time to listen and talk to help children's language develop. Children learn both indoors and outdoors in our large play area. Staff use a mixture of adult led and child initiated learning to  nurture childrens confidence, indpendence, and a love of learning. We provide government funded and paid places for 2, 3 and 4 year olds. We have supportive transition arrangements that help children develop the foundations needed to be school ready by the time they move into our reception class.  Our  experienced staff have a passion for stories and will ensure your child feels valued and supported during every step along their journey with us.
