At Orchard Primary & Nursery School, we are committed to providing high-quality physical education and sports opportunities for all our pupils. The PE and Sports Premium is a vital source of funding that helps us enhance our PE provision, encourage active lifestyles, and support children in developing physical skills, confidence, and a lifelong love for movement.

We use the funding strategically to improve PE and sports opportunities in line with national guidance. This includes investing in high-quality coaching, equipment, and initiatives that promote fitness, teamwork, and well-being. Our approach aligns with the Education Inspection Framework, ensuring that we focus on the Intent, Implementation, and Impact of our spending. We also use the premium to support swimming attainment, a key part of the PE National Curriculum.
