Hello and welcome to our KS1 page. In Hedgehog, Fox and Owl Class, we believe in creating a warm, nurturing, and exciting environment where every child feels valued, supported, and inspired to learn.
Our classrooms are places of curiosity, creativity, and kindness. We love to learn through fun, hands-on experiences that help us grow in confidence and enjoy every moment of our journey. We are passionate about helping each child shine and reach their full potential.
Starting Year 1 is an exciting time as children transition from the Early Years into more structured learning. For our year 2 children they have the opportunity to become fantastic ‘role models’ in Key Stage 1 and start to develop their independence whilst embarking on an exciting learning journey.
Continuous provision is carefully planned to bridge the gap between play-based learning and more formal teaching, helping children feel secure, engaged, and ready to learn.
