The Teaching of RE.

The planning of our RE curriculum is through the agreed guidance for RE teaching in Nottinghamshire and Nottingham schools ‘ Religious Education for All’  This sets out the framework for learning about religious and worldviews until the 2026 -2027 academic year.

The teaching of PSHCE through 'Let’s Talk'

'Let's Talk' supports and enhances teaching within RHE. Built around age-appropriate scenarios that children can relate to and supported by quality texts which help children to understand the issues they face, 'Let’s Talk' supports children’s development around social issues from EYFS up to Year 6.

'The Let’s Talk Curriculum 'addresses three specific themes with the children when exploring these issues. Children will develop their understanding of themselves, how they interact with others within their class, and how their interactions play a key part in the wider community.
