Out of School Club
Orchard Extras Out of School Club offers high-quality wraparound care for children attending Orchard Primary and Nursery. Operating during term time, the Club provides a convenient and reliable drop-off and pick-up service from 7:30am to 8:45am and from 3:15pm to 6:00pm on weekdays. Open to children aged 3 to 11, the Club ensures that working parents have peace of mind knowing their children are in a safe, secure, and engaging environment. Flexible drop-in options are available for both the breakfast and after-school sessions, with the team happy to accommodate families’ varying schedules.

The Club follows the Playwork Principles, encouraging children to explore their own interests and choose from a variety of activities. Whether they enjoy creative play like arts and crafts, imaginative play in the home corner, or more structured activities such as board games and construction, there’s something for everyone. Physical play and a quiet reading area are also available, giving children the chance to unwind or burn off some energy depending on their mood. The Club is based at The Hill Methodist Church, just a short walk from the school, making it easy and convenient for families.
