At Orchard, children will have many opportunities to develop their love of reading as they engage in shared, guided and independent reading sessions throughout the week. We want to develop fluent, confident readers who, by picking up a book, can open doors to many worlds! Reading is a key skill that underpins the rest our children’s learning and is the key tool to becoming a life-long learner.
